P2P Screen Everywhere(P2P、SEW)軟體讓您將電腦桌面動態即時分享給線上成員，並提供了好友名單管理和認證的機制。透過 P2P、SEW 除了讓使用者以一對一的方式分享桌面以外，也可以讓多人同時分享桌面。所以在 P2P、SEW 中您可以送出桌面與多人連線對談，是開會或是教學上很方便的工具。透過 P2P、SEW 您也可以將電腦控制權交給與會人員控制，P2P、SEW 的同步協調機制會做好排程。P2P、SEW 擁有一般的遠端遙控軟體的功能，而其速度和效能則是一般的遠端遙控軟體所無法比擬。

We propose a shared screen system that enables a user to share his/her computer screen with others via the Internet. The system, which incorporates a remote control mechanism for sharing the mouse/keyboard control with remote peers, could be used in remote conferencing or remote assistance applications.

P2P Screen Everywhere is a software package for implementing distributed screen sharing applications over the Internet. We have designed a set of protocols and mechanisms that address different aspects of the implementation to support effective and efficient cooperative screen sharing applications. The mechanisms in P2P Screen Everywhere do not require any special network support.

We provide a directory server to manage user authentication and registration information. To enhance stability and scalability, instead of a centralized directory server, we have designed a self-organizing P2P directory system.

A scenario involving a listener and a presenter is illustrated in the following figure. During the meeting, the listener asks the presenter to share information displayed on his computer screen. If the presenter agrees, everything shown on his computer screen will also be displayed on listener’s screen.
